Build one strong base CV, then tailor a bespoke CV and cover letter to any Japanese ski-resort job in a couple of minutes — using your Claude subscription to do the writing.
Everything you type saves automatically on this device.
🧊Your base CV
Fill this in once. It's the raw material Claude uses to write every tailored CV. Be honest and thorough — the more you give, the better the results. Nothing here leaves your computer.
💡 No work experience is completely fine. Ski resorts hiring for the coming season care most about attitude, reliability, being great with people, and being a fast learner. This form is built to surface exactly those strengths from your studies, activities and character.
🔦Find my skills
You have more than you think — the trick isn't inventing experience, it's recognising what you've already done. So don't stare at a blank box. Go through the prompts below and tap anything that rings true. Each tap adds it to your list; make it specific, and Claude turns it into real CV material.
💡 Here's the idea: "Helped teach toddler ballet" doesn't sound like a job — but it shows patience, communication and real responsibility for other people. That is customer-service experience. Almost everything you've done hides a skill like this. Your only job here is to remember it happened.
Have you ever… Tap every prompt that's true for you. Nothing is too small.
✅ Prompt ready. Copy it into Claude — it will name your skills and give you CV wording for each thing you listed.
When Claude replies, copy the good bits into the matching boxes on the My Base CV tab (responsibilities, activities, achievements, and so on). Then you're ready to tailor to jobs.

💬How it works
A quick guide for Maia.
Not sure what counts as experience? Start with Find My Skills (Tab 2) — list things you've done and Claude names the skills for you.
Build your base CV (Tab 1) once. It saves on this computer automatically, so it's here whenever you come back.
When you find a job, go to Tailor to a Job (Tab 3), paste the advert, and generate a prompt.
Open Claude, paste the prompt, and it writes a CV and cover letter made for that exact job.
Paste the reply into Export (Tab 4) and download it as Word or text.
Good to know about Japan ski jobs
Resorts in Niseko and Hakuba hire seasonal staff from roughly June/July onwards for the winter — so applying early matters. English is the single most valued skill (most guests speak it), and no Japanese is required for many roles. Entry-level positions like guest services, front desk, café/barista, rentals and hospitality are ideal first jobs. You must be legally allowed to work — UK citizens aged 18–30 can use the Working Holiday Visa, which fits a gap year. Most employers help arrange staff accommodation.

Tip: keep your writing honest. Employers can tell, and Claude is instructed never to invent experience you don't have.
